A Sort of Symmetry

When it comes to photography, symmetry becomes a sort of symmetry, a visual feeling of a balanced composition. This ongoing project sets up my style as a photographer.

 

Since I got my mum’s film Pentax camera as a child, she thoughtfully taught me how to not cut my father’s feet our of frame. That day, I started mastering the art of framing. Over the years, I applied her tips to my pics all over the world.

 

This series collates shots I took over the last 10 years, in 10 different countries around the world.
